This is definetly a good start man, and as far as composition goes, i'd say its awesome!
as for mastering, im still not an expert by anymeans, but many of the instruments sound kind of raw or boring. add some effects here and there!

I'm using Ableton Live. I was thinking of putting up some tutorials, but I don't really have time for that right now. But I can still give you some tips. The effect that I used on the bass to give it that airy feel, rather than that deep electro feel, was a sidechained gated reverb. When the bass notes come in, the reverb suddenly cuts off until the volume of the bass is low enough, then the reverb turns on momentarily, but not smoothly until the bass comes back in again. Hope this helps!

Nice song dude!

First off, thanks for the good review on my song 'Aurora', can never get enough advice!

I'm quite impressed by this song, may not be trance but it sure is enjoyable to listen too! (kinda sounds ambient)

This is a good song as is, and i wouldn't advise trying to revamp it into an actual trance mix, but some of the first steps to making trance is a good kick drum at the beginning of every beat. As for instruments, a piano can sound good, and you obviously can make quite beautiful melodies which will help a ton. Unison, detuned saws(trance anthems or supersaws) are often associated with trance. As well as a low, square or saw bass.

Hopefully some of that advice can help you in the future! if not, you can always keep making beautiful songs like this!
