I like this much better than Jay-Zs version, but cant replace the original for me.

Contrary to what the guy beneath me thinks, I dont think your singing is that bad. Perhaps not as good as someone who has been singing for several years, and has had lessons, but its really not awful or anything. Just keep practicing!

Nice song dude!

First off, thanks for the good review on my song 'Aurora', can never get enough advice!

I'm quite impressed by this song, may not be trance but it sure is enjoyable to listen too! (kinda sounds ambient)

This is a good song as is, and i wouldn't advise trying to revamp it into an actual trance mix, but some of the first steps to making trance is a good kick drum at the beginning of every beat. As for instruments, a piano can sound good, and you obviously can make quite beautiful melodies which will help a ton. Unison, detuned saws(trance anthems or supersaws) are often associated with trance. As well as a low, square or saw bass.

Hopefully some of that advice can help you in the future! if not, you can always keep making beautiful songs like this!
